4T & K Quarter Horses

We start our colts at two years old, usually after the spring work.. We go easy on them, usually going 10-15 saddles outside before turning them back out until a few weeks before the fall works. They'll get to put cattle back and get some miles on them before we bring them back in as three year olds, when they learn how to work.

This year's batch of horse colts were outstanding to start. They all left the round pen to go outside by day two, some the same day. They were very easy to get along with and eager to please.
