4T & K Quarter Horses

We are the 4T & K Cross Cattle Co. Inc.

The ranch is located in the foothills of the Guadalupe Mountains west of Carlsbad, New Mexico. It encompasses roughly 73 square miles of country.

The K+ is a cow /calf operation, running +/-700 crossbred mother cows on Limousin bulls.

Over the years, the K+ has owned some very nice horses. Rarely were any horses purchased that had been broke by outside riders. Most of them were old line, Roan Wolf bred. It was becoming increasingly difficult to find horses for the ranch bred the way we like them. When "Sandi Bob" showed excellent ability, mind and structure, we decided to find a few mares bred right and raise our own replacements instead of buying outside horses.

Thus began our breeding program. We've gone from one stallion and five mares to two stallions and fourteen mares. That's more replacements than we need!  Now we can offer some outstanding cow ponies with great bloodlines, sound structure and sound minds.
